DANUBE PHOTO CONTEST
With the cooperation of the European Commission to Hungary, the organizer of the World Press Photo exhibition in Budapest, Herald, has launched an international photo contest named Danube.
The goal of the Danube exhibition is to call attention to the "Strategy for the Danube Region", proposed by the European Commission, raising the need and awareness for cooperation regarding environment protection, and transport in the 14 countries of the Danube region. Our exhibition will show life along the Danube from the Black Forest, Germany to the Black Sea, Romania.
The Danube exhibition will accompany the World Press Photo exhibition 2011 at the Ethnography Museum, Budapest. Opening day: September 29. 2011, closing day: October 30, 2011.
